Escort Cards

Lets Talk Escort Cards

To Escort Card or not to Escort Card. While escort cards are always a good idea, we strongly recommend them for guest counts over 100. Think of escort cards as a tool to make the transition from H’ors D’oeuvres hour to Reception smooth and speedy. After all, you don’t want your college friend sitting in the front and your family in the back, right? We want to accommodate our guests and make sure they have a great time but it can be a tad bit awkward for someone to find their own place to sit, and yes, it may take a while for them to decide. Now, let’s talk details.

We know creating a seating chart can be tricky (Aunt Jenny doesn’t like Uncle Tom etc.) lucky for you, Stonebridge Manor has a venue map specific to your venue to help select who goes where! Although we don’t take tickets at the door, we do set up your reception space with the exact chair amount matching your final guest count. If people are standing and ALL of the seats are filled, we know if we have additional guests that you weren’t expecting. To make things a bit easier on you, we suggest you assign people to a specific table instead of an exact seat. This allows them to choose who they would like to sit by and talk with at their assigned table.

Having a hard time coming up with a clever seating chart or escort card design? There are endless ideas out there in the world wide web.  We suggest that you incorporate something that speaks to you and your overall vision for your special day. Although Escort Cards are a functional item leading your guests to their seats, they are also a way to add a touch of style to your guest tables.  You can even use the escort card as a Wedding Guest Favor as a little something to say “Thank you” to your guests. Worried about enough time to get this project finished?  Why not host a girls night with you and your bridesmaids to work on this project. They’ll be happy to pitch in and you’ll be grateful for the help! Wedding projects don’t have to be stressful and utilizing the girls closest to you relieves pressure and gives you an opportunity to spend time with your ladies.  Here are few Escort Card ideas we have pinned on your behalf.
