Hey fall brides! Your wedding is over, honeymoon had, and holidays celebrated. Now, to bring on the tedious thank you notes! Here’s a handful of tips to help!
1. If the person(s) attended the wedding start off by thanking them for that. “Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to celebrate our love with us!”
2. Thank you for the… (Name the gift, and be descriptive!) Thank you for the paper towel dispenser and loofa (Let’s be real, some gifts come as random as that, right?) 3. State how you plan to use the gift. [i.e. Paper towel dispenser and loofa] I’m going to keep the paper towel dispenser in the kitchen, and a loofa- how thoughtful everyone needs one of those! Perhaps it’s money and you have the perfect thing to spend it on, or a gift card to go toward ______. 4. State why you are thankful for the giver(s)! We are truly blessed to have a friend like you by our side.
5. Close the note with some sort of relational line. “Hope the kids are doing well!” Or, “let’s put lunch on the calendar!”
With the utmost much appreciation,
Mr & Mrs…
[Sorry we don’t have any tips for hand cramps from writing all the notes… good luck with that part!]
